I came across this video on Youtube and thought it might be helpful for some of my readers. Taxes are sensitive subject. One that should be discussed with a reputable professional. The only reasons I put this video up now is because tax season is upon us (how many times have checked your mailbox for your W2 this week?) and because the gentleman in the video appears to know enough about how running a home based business can affect your taxes. I have heard of the deductions he speaks of and believe them to be legit. But I would echo his statement to seek expert advice when filing your taxes. Turbo Tax is great but it’s only as smart as the person using it (I’m resisting the urge to make any Timoty Geithner jokes. Applaud me!).
