I found an interesting article from a business and finance blog about using leverage to speed up the entreprenuerial process. Among other insights the article stated:
You should also know your strength and weakness. Perhaps you do not know how to setup a website. Then outsource the task to other people. Most likely, they can do it within a few hours for a nominal amount of money. One common mistake of many entrepreneurs is that they try to do everything themselves.
This is certainly one of my failings. In my case, I feel that I should know and understand every part of my business before I can hand it off to someone else. Also, I get a sense accomplished from learning something (like web design) and being able to apply my knowledge. I guess my failing is part control freak and part pride.
