Now that we’ve covered some background information on the Project Payday system, let’s cover what people are saying about them.
Better Business Bureau:
There are 2 listings for PPD in the Better Business Bureau’s database. One in Minnesota and one in Texas. I’m not sure why there are 2 separate listing for the same company. Under both listings Project Payday has an unsatisfactory rating. Accordingly to the BBB, Project Payday got the rating due no answering a compliant filed against them in the last 36 months. But the report does state that PPD has resolved most of the other complaints against them. In Texas, the company received 5 complaints. They resolved two of them, two of them were not resolved, and one was closed by the BBB. In Minnesota, one compliant was issued and it was not resolved.
Forum Posts/Review sites:
I’ve checked several forum posts and review sites to see what people are saying about PPD and the majority of people posting information on these sites state that PPD is a legitimate opportunity. However, most of them also state that it is a tedious and time consuming process and that the payoff doesn’t balance out the effort. Some people do feel that it is a scam due to the fact that in order to get paid you have to sign up for something you don’t intend use.

I checked Youtube.com to see what was posted up there. There are about 40 videos that pop up when you search for ‘Project Payday’, half of them are unrelated to the topic. The remaining ones are videos from PPD affiliates trying to convince us to join. There are couple that give some good insights into how the process works. See for yourself:

Final Word?
All evidence points to this being a real opportunity to make some extra cash. But you need to be prepared to work and have realistic expectations as to what you’re going to get for your efforts.
